Name every care charge

Find the whole cost

A small headline price can leave a large blank. Ask what repeats, what is extra and what changes after the offer.

Separate the medicine from the care fee

A quote is easier to compare when each part has a name. Ask for the medicine price, visits or membership, tests and delivery on separate lines. Then ask which charges repeat.

Use this bill outline to spot missing answers.
  1. MedicineName the exact product and form.
  2. CareAsk which visits or membership are included.
  3. ExtrasAsk about tests and delivery.
  4. LaterAsk about renewals and the end of an offer.

A headline price can be only the opening price

A dated cash-price example

A cash offer for semaglutide (Ozempic pen) listed $199 per monthly supply at the dated check below.

The offer depended on the pen’s strength: how much medicine it gives in a dose. A dose is the amount given at one time; mg stands for milligrams.

For new patients paying without insurance, the $199 price applied to the first two monthly supplies, using 0.25 mg or 0.5 mg pens. Patients had to be adults living in the US.

After those supplies, pens in the 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg or 1 mg strengths were $349 per month; 2 mg pens were $499.

December 31, 2026 was the last day of the introductory terms.

Cash payment under this offer cannot count toward the insurance deductible, the amount paid before plan benefits apply.

This example shows how a quoted price can change. It does not quote the price of your care. Request your own total in writing, with the period it covers.

Make your cost-question list

  • What is the full medicine price, separate from the care fee?
  • Which visits, tests and delivery charges are included?
  • What will I pay after an introductory offer ends?
  • If the visit ends without a prescription, which charges still apply?
  • How do cancellation and refunds work?
